This domain was purchased from auction and then recreated as-is. The site has grown nicely month over month in a “hobby”-type niche, BBQ. I’ve seen a handful of similar sites in the BBQ niche going for over $100,000 through various brokers. This one has the legs to grow further.

Needless to say, the interest in space exploration has been growing and will continue to grow. These two quality aged domains can be repurposed into a true authority site discussing various topics of space.
I covered two domains here because they are related. Each has its own perks as covered below:
- AstroWatch: this used to be a dedicated blog discussing space news, asteroids, and more. Thus, it’s perfect to be repurposed into a magazine-style blog. I recommend building out an authority website on this specific domain/
- CityAstronomy: This used to be a space observatory. Therefore, this would be a perfect 301 redirect to a silo category page on the AstroWatch website. This category should discuss space observation, telescopes, space pictures, and more.
This is what I would do step-by-step:
- Build a content site on AstroWatch covering space news, listicles, and informational content
- Simultanously, build a smaller content site on CityAstronomy discussing space exploration, and other such topics related to the domain
- Add product reviews and buying guides into AstroWatch
- Create silo categories such as Space Exploration, Startuops & Companies, Spacing Mining, among others (do your research)
- After 6-9 months, redirect CityAstronomy into a relevant AstroWatch categoriy and move over content as well
While nothing is guaranteed in this game, this strategy if done right, would lend itself to an excellent authority website in this space.
For monetization, affiliate revenues from space-related products (telescopes mostly) can be generated via Amazon Associates. Display ads would work well in this niche as an additional revenue stream. Over time though, I highly recommend creating a value-add newsletter sharing tidbits, news, findings, etc with the audience. In addition, digital products in this niche would do well, such as “How to Get Started in Space Observation” which can be a course or e-book from a hobbyist standpoint.
Plenty of opportunities in the space niche.

- Reduce 10 product comparison tables to 3-5 to ensure more clickthrough to best products
- Add more informational content (i.e., how to cook X with sous vide)
- Add more recipes
- Can be a great bolt-on to a larger kitchen site or eCommerce site
Takeaway
This website was built from scratch by a well-known niche website builder. No shortcuts were taken in creating this site; it’s well done. In general, the home/kitchen niche is competitive but has many long-tail opportunities. Sous vides is one of those sub-niches that are growing in popularity.
I like this site because:
- Lucrative sub-niche
- One-owner site created from scratch (not an expired domain)
- Content is well-researched by the seller
Note that the site is part of Ezoic accelerator program. It’s a 3-year program where Ezoic covers all of the Premium Fees for the 1st year and the owner gets access to the Ezoic SEO team for advice. This is transferable to the new owner of the site.
An added bonus for the new owner is that because of this program, the owner will get other sites added to Ezoic premium.

🚀 13 Brandable Domains at Auction
My team and I sifted through the marketplaces and found 13 branded domains that are live at auction.
There’s only one brandable domain with decent authority on this week’s list, Kirei.com, with a AHREFs DR of 30 and a GoDaddy estimated value of $14,526. Bidding has already eclipsed that price, and the auction is at $15,000+ at the time of writing.
The domain has a short five-character length going for it, but there are several active trademarks for “Kirei”, which may cause a problem for the winner.
Going for a much more reasonable amount is the domain Meditators.com which would work well for a wellness newsletter or authority site and has some intrinsic value being a plural, single word domain name.
