Takeaway
This is a website that was built from scratch targeting the Canadian technology market. The website makes a significant amount of revenue per visitor, has excellent backlinks from impossible-to-obtain sites, and has an exclusive affiliate partnerships setup.
I like this site because:
- Promoting both financial, investment, and technology service products (diversity)
- One-owner site created from scratch (not an expired domain)
- Content is well-researched by the seller
If you are wanting to build a media brand, this would be a great acquisition. The seller has done a good job performing the easiest of easy wins but the new owner could add a ton more content (the site has 183 articles as of today), perform internal linking, and renegotiate affiliate payouts.

This was a website that found, researched and compared various internships across the United States.

This branded domain could be utilized to create an internship job board. Most undergrad students search for summer internships while they are in their 2nd to 4th year. There are not that many resources out there to help them find these opportunities all in one place.
This is what I would do:
- Recreate the site with 301 redirects and content as needed
- Setup a job board on this domain using WP Job Board ($97 one-time) or NiceBoard ($223/mo)
- Auto populate internships from job boards like Google Jobs, LinkedIn, and Indeed. Either do this manually, via a VA, or software
- Write content related to finding internships, how to choose one, and how it helps you in your career
To monetize, you can use display ads but more importantly, charge the employers that want to advertise their opportunity for a fixed fee (e.g., $100 for 30 days).

Easy Wins
- Add comparison tables to high-traffic buying guides. 20-30% increase in revenues easily.
- Improve the navigation of the site. Pillar pages do not have archive of posts to articles. There is no blog archive.
- Add call out boxes under each product
- Change the CTA from green to a more distinct color (e.g., red). This will lead to higher CTR.
- Add cannabis-specific ad network for display ads
Takeaway
The cannabis niche is lucrative but competitive. Monetization sources include affiliate programs paying out on a Cost Per Action (CPA) basis, i.e., a fixed fee paid to you and not based on a percentage of the sale. This site is monetized with ShareASale brands, and 5 other direct affiliate brands.
There are many easy wins with this. The top articles are buying guides that are not optimized for CRO. There are no comparison tables, call-to-action boxes, or standout call-to-action buttons. These changes can result in a good increase in revenues.
Furthermore, adding a display ad network focused on cannabis (Ezoic and others will not accept this niche) would add an additional revenue stream to the site.
A good asset at a good price.

- ManagerSkills.org: 6-year old DR 29 website in the employement, business, and HR niche. Backlinks from CNBC, EDU sites, Chron, WikiHow, and more. The site gets 10,000 pageviews per month. Ezoic was added recently earning $3-4 per day. This is a site in my portfolio and I won’t have time to work on it. Selling for $10,000 due to age, backlinks, existing traffic, and earnings.

🚀 13 Brandable Domains at Auction
My team and I sifted through the marketplaces and found 14 branded domains that are live at auction.
There are fewer authority domains to pick from this week but on the up side the names should be cheaper to bid on.
Top authority brandable name this week, LALife.com with a DR of 9 and 166 referring domains according to AHREFS. First active in 2006 it was an LA neighborhood statistics site before transitioning to more of a real-estate focus.
Note: It looks like the domain was dropped in 2015 and new content was in Chinese after that. The existing backlinks and anchor text appear to be in English so it may be worth a try if you can get the domain at a low price.
