Welcome to Week 17! Today’s Authority Business Blueprints will feature a brokered site (pet niche) from The Website Flip brokerage, and a domain from ODYS global. Check out my selection of “Other Quality Sites” and “Distressed Sites” at the end.
Let’s get into the growth blueprints!
Off-Market Deal #1: PetDT.com
Type: Existing content site
- March 2021: $1,481.45
- L3M: $1,248
- L6M: $1,492
- L12M: $1,500
Website is monetized with Mediavine, Amazon Associates, Chewy, ShareASale, JustAnswer, and sponsored articles. Sponsored article income is being discounted 50%.
Listing Price: $45,000 (30X multiple of L12M)
- Diversified traffic to various pages; top page gets 6% of total page views
- Multiple revenue streams
- Primarily informational content, minimal commercial content
- Quality backlinks from Wikipedia, Dogster, Breeding Business, and more
- New owner will need to get approved for MediaVine (see details below)
- Impacted by the May 2020 Google algorithmic update
- Add product recommendations (comparison tables, product boxes, contextual links) to top traffic pages
- Existing comparison tables are missing links in images, and CTAs are too small
This website is being valued at $45,000 at a 30X multiple. This is a lower multiple than the industry average.
This discount is due to revenue risk with MediaVine acceptance. If MediaVine rejects the site due to the session count, then the new owner will need to use Ezoic. I’ve received word that MediaVine accepts sites above 25,000 sessions upon their discretion so a strong case can be made for this one being accepted.
The website makes some revenue via sponsored articles, which is being discounted by 50%, since it’s a revenue stream that requires work.

As stated, I owned this site pre-January 2019 so I was able to find revenue screenshots. For full details, view the current P&L, and all screenshots here.

Blueprint #2: LenaBaby.com
Type: Aged Domain
Age: 2004 (17 years old)
Listed Price: $3,170
Backlinks: This domain has notable backlinks from the NY Times, NPR.org, Huffington Post, Wired.com, Go.com, Yahoo! News, Michigan State University, University of Kansas, and more.
This site used to be run by a non-profit that develops advanced technology for the early screening, research, and treatment of language delays in young children. They are dedicated to helping improve language development worldwide
Here is a snapshot of the past site:
I’ve covered many parenting and kids domains over the past few months. It’s one of those niches that has endless keywords, shoulder topics, and monetization opportunities.
This domain would make for an excellent informational site about young children upbringing. I would focus with short to the point information articles targeting low to mid-competition keywords (i.e., Ahrefs KD less than 10).
Monetization can be done with display advertisements initially with Ezoic and then eventually with Mediavine. Mediavine is by far the best in this niche. Affiliate marketing can be done with Amazon Associates, and a plethora of brand affiliate programs available on ShareASale.
🔥 Other Quality Sites
1. ThermoGears.com (off-market)
This is an affiliate site in a lucrative niche covering thermal gears, which includes sights, scopes, etc. There are several easy wins such as improving the comparison tables for higher CTR, improving CTA buttons, and more. Also, the seller is not including Ezoic earnings in the P&L since it was recently added which is an additional $300/mo profit.
Download the screenshots and P&Ls here. Fill out the form below to get access to Google Analytics and ask any questions.
This is a 20-year old DR40 site with excellent backlinks. The website receives 50,000 page views per month to information about dog breeds. The site is not on a WordPress backend. The website is monetized with Google Adsense making about $172/mo, which is an RPM of $3.44. In the pet niche, this is very low.
A switch to Ezoic or Mediavine would 3X that RPM immediately at the very least. The main challenge with this site is it would need a significant overhaul to add content and revamp current content. The asking price of $20,000 is also too high for the amount of effort needed; make sure to negotiate.
This site is listed on MotionInvest and is in the health/supplement niche earning $1,088 per month and is listed at a 37x multiple, which is at the high end. The commission payouts range from $20 to $60 from the current programs. While a lucrative niche, it has risks. Google EAT is extremely crucial.
More needs to be done to the site long term such as quality health-related backlinks, and inclusion of credentialed doctors/nutritionists. At a lower multiple of 30-32x, this site would be an interesting purchase.
🔥 Distressed Sites
1. SecretStorages.com (off-market)
The price of this site has been reduced to a 17x multiple of last 6-months. The listed price is $12,500.
This site needs some time and care as it has been on a downtrend. The site at one point was earning $3,000/mo. However, the L6M average is $736 (we’ve discounted guest post income by 50%). Check out the P&L here, and if interested in learning more, fill out the form.
That’s it for this week. If you are interested in acquiring any sites we are brokering, please fill out the form here.
